Hachem laid the first foundation of CIVE® – a name inspired by Civil Engineering course code, found in many universities’ academic curriculum – as a Civil & Structural Engineering consulting firm in a 10’ x 10' office in Houston.
The company took off in the design engineering realm to take on more complex projects, gaining trust of its newly developed and a growing client base along the way.
CIVE® grew to become a full service design firm, by adding architectural design to its service mix as well.
CIVE® vertically integrated its operations and added engineering-driven construction into its service mix. Clients could now enjoy a fully engineered structure from design to construction, with a maximized ROI.
CIVE® went international, by establishing its first office in Doha, Qatar and became part of the country's development drive. CIVE® executes heavy infrastructure projects in Qatar.
The company entered industrial sector by building a cement distribution facility, spread over 10 acre of fully developed tract.
CIVE® won a project that has really put Houston on the map. Houston will soon be home to the world's largest privately owned cement terminal ever built! CIVE is performing both design, construction and procurement for this project at the Port of Houston.
CIVE Ready Mix LLC is born, as an independent entity, unrelated to CIVE Inc.
